How to stop tickets from automatically batching

Modified on Mon, 5 Jun, 2023 at 8:45 AM

Last Yard has built in automations to reduce manual intervention for ticket generation. One of those automations is Smart batching, automatically producing the tickets you need to print based on price change, description change etc. if however, you do not want this feature enabled you can turn this off.

To stop tickets from being automatically batched for a specific category you can select “Yes” from “Disable automatic batching” under its Ticketing Defaults. The existing tickets for this department will not be deleted, only future changes won’t result in a ticket being automatically generated. You will be able to create ad hoc tickets for this category.

By default all system generated tickets will appear in a batch (collection) named after the department. If you would like to override this behaviour you can do so from the Store Category ticketing defaults also using the “Batch name” field. If you enter the same value for several departments then they’ll all appear in the same batch.
