The Price Verification feature in the mobile app helps store users verify product prices, identify discrepancies, and create ticket batches efficiently.
Easily walk the store, scan a product barcode and the app will verify the correct price the store user should be seeing on the ticket. If there is a discrepancy, the user can simply generate a new ticket to reprint back on the Last Yard dashboard. Creating an efficient process for verifying prices and helping stores easily manage price discrepancies to minimise revenue loss.
1. Accessing Price Verify
- Open the Last Yard Scanner App
- Click on the Price Verify icon
2. Scan A Product Barcode
- The app will access the camera in your mobile device or PDT, displaying on the screen
- Scan the barcode of the product you would like to verify with the device
- The app will display the Product ID and Product Description for reference
3. Review the Price
- The app will clearly display for you both the Scanned Price (based on the barcode) and the Current Price ( based on the what is in the Last Yard system).
- Review and check for any discrepancies between these prices.
4. Creating a Replacement Ticket
- As in the screenshot above, the system will clearly highlight if there is a Price Mismatch so you can easily generate a new ticket as required.
- Select the Ticket Template that matches the product
- Specify the number of Copies required
- You can select multiple templates for the same product if required
5. Creating & Managing Batches
- When adding tickets/products to a batch, a default batch name (eg: "Ticket Verification + Date") will be applied.
- Verification batches will automatically be categorised under the Scanned section of your dashboard for easy tracking.
6. Accessing The Price Verify Feature
