Data Collection Agent (DCA) Offline

When your FUJIFILM Data Collection Agent (DCA) is offline, your store's printer will not be providing consumables, alerts, and meter reading information to the store's FUJIFILM portal account. 


If there has been a change in your store recently, like a computer upgrade or update, this may mean that the DCA has not been turned back on and therefore not reporting. 


Please note it is your responsibility to maintain a secure connection for the DCA to operate, if it is offline, the system can not read your printer and you will need to reconnect your DCA. It will also mean that your store will not receive automatic consumables ordering from FUJIFILM.


Try opening the DCA software on your computer, or if it is already open it can be restarted by clicking on the tray icon at the bottom of the screen (this looks like a small circular orange target), and selecting "Stop".  Give the software a minute to process this change, and then select "Start".


You will know that the DCA service has established a connection to FUJIFILM correctly when "Connected to https....." appears in this window (same as the above image). A DCA that is running, but does not have an active connection to FUJIFILM will appear the same as the below image and include "Not connected......":


If the DCA icon is not in your system tray, simply re-open the software by searching for the DCA on your computer and opening the program. This should then automatically start the service and be running in the background. Confirm that the DCA has successfully connected to FUJIFILM using the above information.


If the DCA software does not appear in a search on your computer, it may be installed on another computer in the store. If there is a "main" computer/server that is used in store, there's a good chance that it is installed there. If the computer that this software was previously installed on has been upgraded, the DCA may not be installed and configured for the new computer and will require re-installation.
