There are several ways to print your tickets in Last Yard. This guide covers how to initiate a print job, how to configure your browser settings for perfect alignment, and how to mark your batches as complete.
Note: If you have already set up Cloud Connect printing, your workflow may bypass the browser print dialogue. See the Quick Start Guide on your dashboard for more info.
Choose What to Print
You can print tickets directly from your dashboard or from within a specific batch.
To print a single batch from the dashboard:
Navigate to your dashboard.
Click the Print button next to the relevant batch name.
To print multiple batches at once:
On your dashboard, check the boxes next to the batches you want to print.

Click the Bulk Action dropdown menu and select Print.

Configure Your Print Settings (Google Chrome)
We highly recommend using Google Chrome for Last Yard. The following steps are based on Chrome's print interface.
Step 1: Set Template Properties The Template Properties box allows you to set the start position for your tickets. If your print job includes multiple templates, select each one from the dropdown menu to configure it.
If no changes to the start position are needed, simply click Next.

Step 2: Load Your Paper You will be prompted to load the correct paper stock matching the templates you selected. Once your printer is loaded, click Continue.
Step 3: Generate PDF Last Yard will render a PDF of your tickets, ready for printing.
Step 4: Configure Chrome Print Settings (Important!) The Chrome print dialogue box will open. To prevent bad print alignment and ensure your tickets fit your paper stock properly, apply these specific settings under the More Settings dropdown:
Paper Size: A4
Scale: Default
(Note: You only need to check this once for your specific printer; Chrome will remember these default settings for future print jobs.)
Once your settings are correct, click Print.
After your tickets have printed successfully, always return to Last Yard and click Finish. This confirms the print job was completed and updates the ticket/batch status to "Printed" in your system.
