How to bulk edit tickets

After you’ve set up your default ticket themes and templates there may be occasions where you need to make a change to a batch, or larger volume of tickets. The following will show how to do this in a few easy steps.

From your dashboard view you can select a batch or batches to change, or even apply filters so that only the filtered tickets within the batch are changed.

  • Select the batches you would like to update and click ‘Bulk Action > Change Properties’:



OR

  • Select filters to find only tickets you want to change, select all and then click ‘Bulk Action > Change Properties’:



Once you’ve clicked the ‘Change Properties’ option you will be asked to select the properties you would like to change. You can start typing, or simply click and select from the dropdown list. 

Multiple properties can be changed at the same time. 

Once you’re happy, click the ‘Edit’ button.

 



Once again, type or click and select from the available options, then click ‘Save All’ when you’re done. The changes will be made to your selection.

 



You can also make bulk changes to tickets within a batch, simply select the tickets you wish to change. When you select the first ticket the options will appear as per the below screen shots.:

 

 



You can also use filters and select all on this screen if you wish. Once you’ve selected all the tickets you wish to change, click ‘Change Properties’ and once again select the properties you wish to change, then click ‘Edit’.

 



Once again, type or click and select from the available options, then click ‘Save All’ when you’re done. The changes will be made to your selection.
