Paper Types

Modified on Tue, 7 May at 5:37 PM

Paper Types allow users to customize the type of paper or stationery they want to use for their printed documents.

On the navigation of Template Studio, you can find 'Paper Types'. This is where all existing paper types are listed.

When creating a new template, you can create a new paper type for that template. After choosing the paper size and configuring the page, you will get a step asking you to set up paper type.

Create new paper type

If you don't see the step below, make sure to select 'Add New' from the dropdown menu. Once you've done that, the following step will appear.

Name - Ensure that you give the paper type a descriptive name that matches the size of the template. This will make it easier to use later when you create new templates of similar sizes.

Pages Per Pile - If you are not compiling your tickets this way, leave this option as 0

Upload Preview Image - The preview image will appear just before printing. It helps you remember which type of paper to load into the printer. If you're using pre-printed paper, you can upload a thumbnail image of it.

Page load instructions - Instructions regarding which paper to load (referencing the preview image) and any additional instructions you wish to provide.

Set up paper type

When you are creating a template with a setup similar to existing paper types, you will be presented with the choice to either select an existing paper type or add a new one.

If the new template's page layout matches an existing paper type, select it from the list. You can then continue creating your new template.
