Cast Troubleshooting: Content Not Displaying

Sometimes we experience issues with the content not/being incorrectly displayed on Cast Devices. 

 

We can see this under "System Status" on the Cast screen as "Content" has a status if "unknown". 

 

In this case, when the played is connected to the network, for some reason the player renames itself to "blank-signiq-tv". 




Solution

 

1. Go into admin panel to find the player: 

2. Click on the MAC address: 


3. Rename the player to the correct name and hit 'Save':


4. Reboot the player:
